This legislation is bs and needs to be killed with fire. Please sign every petition you can find opposing this freedom crippling bill and bury it. Follow this [link] for a starting point. We have a limited time before the bill is voted on. Even if you're not a US Citizen this could impact your internet too since most of the websites are controlled by US registrars. Please speak out about this dangerous bill. Email the State Dept (they criticize other countries' censorship tactics, after all). Email/call your congressperson. Let them know that the vast majority of internet users oppose this bill.

Opposing this bill does not make me a pirate. I still buy CDs ffs. I still buy DVDs. I am currently collecting most of my favorite TV shows on DVD. I go to shows, I buy merch. I prefer buying manga and haven't used an online manga viewer for 2 years now. I only stream anime through the youtube channels of the companies that own their rights (FUNimation does post full episodes, for one; it's how I watched Jellyfish Princess). The entertainment industry has gotten lots of my cash monies. But I'd hate to log on one day and see my favorite sites DNS blocked because ONE user posted a link. That's all it takes! ONE user link to an infringing site.

So think about how boring an internet without user-generated content will be. Have some nightmares about it. And then contact whoever you can and urge them to vote "no."
